An amazing day of festivities in Newport, Isle of Wight
Newport & Carisbrooke Parish Council’s Christmas Fair & Light Switch On event will take place on Saturday, 24th November 2018.
Santa has taken some time out of his hectic Christmas schedule to pop along to the Minster in St Thomas’ Square between 12pm and 2pm where he will be giving away FREE gifts to all children on the day!
There will be loads of fun and festive themed activities going on both inside and outside the Minster in St Thomas’ Square. Below is an itinerary of activities going on throughout the day.
Inside the Minster:
11am to 3pm – Crafts and Young Enterprise Stalls
12pm to 2pm – Meet Santa in His Grotto
1pm to 3pm – Balloon Modelling
2pm to 3pm – Scottish Fiddlers Perform
St Thomas’ Square
12pm to 1pm – Medina Marching Band
1pm to 2pm – Wight Harmony Barbershop Quartet
1pm to 2pm – Elsa and Anna from Enchanted Isle
2pm to 2:30pm – Melodic Choir
3pm to 3:20pm – Combined Newport & Carisbrooke CE Primary Choir
5:15 to 5:45 – Live music from Isle of Wight Radio
5:45 – Christmas Lights to be switched on by Alan Titchmarsh
