As the name infers, Newport has always been a working harbour. It still offers overnight and visitors berths with access to fresh water, electricity and toilets. Alongside the quay is the Quay Arts Centre. There’s also a conveniently located pub that’s right on the quay at Little London called the Bargeman’s Rest.
Newport Harbour office will be open either side of high water between 8am and 6pm.

Newport harbour facilities
The facilities available for both visitor and resident berth holders include:
- water and electricity on the pontoons and quay side
- waste facilities
- showers and toilets
- public slipways.
