Hurst of Holyrood Street, Newport is the flagship store of the island company. Other branches are located at Cowes, Freshwater, Ryde, Shanklin and Ventnor. The company was founded in 1859 and has been in a constant state of development ever since. From the 1960’s onwards it has progressed to being one of the island’s finest independent stores.

The company started out by servicing the needs of the farming community, but since then has greatly expanded its customer base.
